Education is the backbone for every civil economy and as FOHU Uganda, we focus our attention on empowering communities in Africa through sending the kids to school. We are currently responsible for sending children to school where we fully cater for their tuition fees and scholastic materials. We would love to appreciate our loving friends that have stood with us to provide termly scholastic materials and school fees to the kids. Below is the insight of the Education system in Uganda.

At the age of 5, the kids go to Kindergarten (Nursery School), and later join Primary School for seven years. From here the kids graduate to Secondary level which involves four years in O’level and two years in  A’level (high school). Students from this level join University or Institutions for a specialized course.

But as for now, all our children are in Nursery, Primary and a few in Secondary school. So school in all these levels except University is broken in 3 terms every year and each term runs for 3 months before a student is promoted to the next class.

SPONSOR A CHILD

You can send a child to school through a direct donation towards a specific school need or through a long term commitment as a personal donor to a specific child. For further information about our kids, check out the profiles under the children’s home menu.

A donation of $30 in 3 months can pay for the tuition of a child in Primary School and $180 for a student in secondary (High school).
